Markus Büsig
Markus Büsig has been appointed managing director on 1.12.2010. Since the late 1990's Mr. Büsig held senior management positions in E.R. Schiffahrt and Reederei 'Nord' Klaus E. Oldendorff in Hamburg, responsible for the commercial as well as operational management for bulk carriers, container vessels and tankers. He further has several years of experience as managing director in numerous KG Funds. Markus Büsig started his career in shipbroking, working in London, Hong Kong and the USA. In Hamburg he joined a leading ship broking company servicing industrial German and international clients. On the Management Board of MPC Steamship Mr. Büsig is focusing on commercial and technical operations, including crewing, insurance, chartering, sale and purchase as well as on finance, IT and human resources. Markus Büsig is married with four children.

Gregory A.E. G. de Ruiter
Gregory de Ruiter is a trained nautical officer and holds a degree in maritime economics from Hogere Zeevaartschool in Rotterdam. Until 2002, he held several positions in ship lending with Dutch banks. In his last position there, Gregory de Ruiter was responsible for the bank's ship lending business in Asia out of Singapore. From 2002 to 2005 he worked as director fleet of P&O Nedlloyd and founding Managing Director of Reederei Blue Star GmbH. Since 2005 he is in the Management Board of MPC Steamship being responsible for product development and acquisitions as well as for chartering affairs of the fleet. Gregory de Ruiter is married and has two children.
